Clean Energy Solutions Index acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work. We acknowledge and pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land, which continue to be important to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living today.

Key insights
Australians continue to largely agree that clean energy solutions are good for the country, with personal support closely mirroring this sentiment.
Solar-related solutions continue to demonstrate the deepest support, as it is meeting consumers needs on saving on energy bills and benefiting the environment. Support is more moderate for electric vehicles, gas-free homes, and gas-free industries.
Fewer are willing to speak positively about these solutions in discussions with family and friends, potentially due to a range of social and personal reasons, along with lack of knowledge.
Overall, there has been an increase in media noise about clean energy solutions, with both positive and negative noise in the market.
Perceived community support continues to lag behind personal support, particularly for infrastructure and industry solutions.
